Easy and Free Way To Add eBay Products To Your Blog

By Max

Why you should care about eBay products for your blog? Recently, eBay sealed a deal with Buy.com adding millions of household [and shopping mall] products to its already huge inventory. Think of it as eBay has ANY product for ANY niche, and this opens up a way to add extra revenue stream for niche blogs.

There are products on a market (like BANS script and phpBay Pro) making it easy to build eBay stores or add eBay products into wordpress blog, but they cost money. Any free options?

I just found interesting plugin called WP-TagAds designed to easily add eBay listing into sidebar of WP blog. What is VERY cool about this plugin is that it pulls eBay products based on post tags! What it really means is - eBay “Adsense”. Imagine your visitors browsing posts on your blog, and… instead of low-paying Adsense ads, they served with eBay products RELATED to their interest. [blog monetizing on steroids :-)]

What I like about WP-TagAds:

  • Free
  • Widget in sidebar
  • Serves eBay products relevant to the post

I did not try this plugin yet on any of my blogs, but have it on my To-Do list. If you already tried it, share your experience with readers.

One more thing, you have to have eBay Campaign ID to use WP-TagAds plugin. To get this ID - head to eBay partner network and apply for free account.
