wp-moneyThis is a final part of building $100+ a month blog case study where you’ll learn what can happen and what to do AFTER affiliate products blog is launched. Simon story will not be complete without this chapter.

First lesson Simon learnt was Repeat what works for you! Gurus will push a plenty of products on you just to make a sale, and before you know it – you’d be overwhelmed with information and paralyzed to act. Viliat Facelift Is Almost Over

money blog For over two years I was not very satisfied with wordpress themes – both free and premium (paid). Main reason being in-flexibility of the themes. Yes, premium themes have great design and features, but many times I need something extra such as adding menu on top of banner, or adding featured product reviews right below a banner, or moving sidebar on the left side.

I agreed to help him and take through all steps to build his first affiliate blog with one condition only – I can share his story on my blog.

Here is what we did over a period of 3 weeks to setup a blog making him $100+ a month now.

After several days of intense evaluation of various banners and links management plugins (about 10 of them), I got a winner - Adsense Manager Plugin. I had a problem with 2 niche blogs with expired affiliate links, and when visitors click on a link they’ve shown broken link message or a product not related to the post. Problem multiplies because I had same affiliate links published on many posts.

Why broken links happen? In my case, I was promoting offers from CPA networks and publishers canceled promotions for Free Trial offers. CPA managers did not notify me about it, and profits from 2 blogs dropped 70%.

Why it was so bad?
