If you’re not using Squidoo as part of your marketing plan, you’re missing out on a very easy way to make money. A Squidoo page is a somewhat blended idea. Not exactly a blog, but not quite a website either. Each page you create is called a lens, and you can make unlimited numbers of lenses, on any topic you desire. It’s extremely user-friendly and you can realistically set up a lens in a matter of minutes.
Crackdown on Brand Names

I will not list them all here, but rather discuss one point that can make devastating effect on your affiliate marketing campaign. Promoting brand names has advantage of instant recognition and trust of the brand. Would you buy Sony or CornerWiz product?
However, the ugly side of brand promotion is restrictions on the use for brand names. I used to have a site with domain name tiffanybags[keyword] dot com, but had to shut it down after polite request from the brand. Make no mistake – they do watch what is going on with their names.

The basic behind this idea is “reverse engineering” of successful niche sites.
What it means really is to know how to evaluate niches by exactly how much money people are already making, and then entering the niche with zero guesswork and hardly any “trial and error”.

With a huge supply of products available to affiliates, you can start affiliate business in pretty much ANY market – from selling ringtones, how-to ebooks to cruise vacation packages. However, my recommendation is start with products that will pay you $20 and up in commissions. Many affiliates begin with selling ebooks from Clickbank and Paydotcom. Both networks provide big selection of ebooks and courses in a variety of markets.
